Jo Cartwright

Leadership & Management Development Coach Founder, Coaching Space Works

After 20 years of leading and managing people within organisations, I retrained as a coach so that I could support people who lead and manage people within organisations. Too many times had I seen and heard about leaders who were struggling but didn’t feel they could ask for help. I was very aware of the negative impact that inadequate support, development and training can have on leaders and their teams. Now I’m on a mission to support leaders and their teams to do better. Let’s face it, we all need a bit of help sometimes!

Coaching Space Works to support sustainable high performance among people managers at all levels within organisations. Coaching offers timely and tailored development support to address the particular needs and circumstances of individual leaders and managers. In this way it has greater impact and longevity than generic leadership and management training courses. Offered at the right time, coaching support can boost performance, build resilience and help to prevent or minimise stress during periods of change or challenge.

My coaching practice is underpinned by my passionate interest in psychology, psychotherapy, adult learning & development and organisational culture.
